Teaching Again
More and more these days, I’m drawn to the idea of teaching.
I used to do it a lot, and it was good and healthy to take a break—to just focus on playing and creating. But lately, I’ve been feeling ready to get back into the weeds of it again. I’ve been getting into Ran Blake’s book/method Primacy Of The Ear, which is all about deep listening, musical memory, and truly playing by ear, and it’s given me some new inspiration to get back into teaching.

So I’m opening up a few time slots for guitar and lap steel lessons through Lessonface. It’s all online, so anyone with a decent internet connection can sign up. Note that it’s in USD, so if you’re in Canada you might wanna contact me directly and save a few bucks :)
